Few people have realised that BoB has been letting rip with sneaky farts during play for most of his all-terrain bocce career. In a revealing interview at Perry Lakes, he explained that he often likes to do the Knee Lift manoeuvre when tossing a cod. This, he says, facilitates the fart while distracting the casual observer.

Whether the sneaky farts help BoB’s game or not, Beastly Justice (BoB, but no Serge) held onto the the minor premiership in Round 8 by comfortably accounting for The Young Ones, 7-3.

The Singularity (RE sans Stormboy) had a narrow escape in an enthralling tussle with Pisco Piranhas. Although Rawalpindi Express went out to a 5-0 lead, PP kept pinging back, and they took it to 6-6, before RE sealed it.

It was a successful day out for RE, as The Singularity won its other game, beating Soft 7-3, despite Brad’s very fetching tie. This took The Singularity to second place on the ladder ahead of the finals.

The Young Ones enjoyed their second game a bit more than their first. Big Pineapple was the sole representative of Super Big Buzz-Balls, as Buzz Lightbeer and SuperMario were attending another People With Astigmatism focus group. There was no foxing in a decisive 8-1 victory for the young’uns.
