Serious questions have been raised in the sporting press about the spirit of the game after Brad appeared to try to put Barney off his game by loudly pretending to rev a motorcycle while Barney was taking a shot at Rowe Park in Round 7.
The troubled presidency of HRH Prince Andrew II appears to be taking yet another hit, as Brad’s conduct was reported directly to the tribunal by the stewards. The press will no doubt rake over the embers of Brad’s colourful past, including his steroid abuse.

Barnballs (Barney without Cannonball) were much too good for The Big LeBocce, Barney dismantling them 7-1.

There was another 7-1 result when Gonad (the only member of GFOOBO who turned up) proved much too good for Artificial Indifference (RE playing in Stormboy’s absence).

When the in-form Motherchucker took on The Brandy Bunch, the difference between the scores was almost as stark, Mochu prevailing 7-2.

The day’s closest result was the tussle between the cellar-dwelling Big Wheelers (Banker, but no Stella) and their near neighbours on the ladder, Go Flat Out – or Buzz Off (Gonad flying solo), the result being 7-5 in Banker’s favour.

The day’s most controversial game was between The Brandy Bunch and Barnballs. Despite Brad trying to distract Barney by loudly pretending to rev an imaginary motorcycle, Barney was unfazed and took the honours, 7-3. Whether a penalty from the tribunal will interfere with The Brandy Bunch’s finals remains to be seen.
