The Bureau of Meteorology sold us the dummy. They had forecast torrential rain, gale-force winds, sleet and sharknadoes, so we moved the locus bocci from Lake Jualbup to the Vietnam Memorial Pavilion in Kings Park. However, the promised tempest wasn’t to be. There was a gentle breeze, no rain and very few sharks of any size falling from the sky.

Our own Storm Surge also failed to turn up on the day. OK, they were actually in attendance, but couldn’t take a trick. Stormboy and Serge lost 0-8 to Pineapple Express (RE sans BP), 5-8 to Cannonbra (Cannonball minus Brad) and 3-7 to Superbarney.

An invigorated Pineapple Express, finally finding some form, also managed to win its other game, defeating Bank Tellers 8-2. Bank Tellers also lost their only other game, going down 2-7 to Go Dig Buzz.

Mother Reg remains on the top of the ladder with two wins from three starts, prevailing 7-1 over Cannonbra and 8-5 over Go Dig Buzz (Gonad without Digger or Buzz), but losing 6-7 to Superbarney (with Barney and SuperMario thereby winning both of their two games).
