Minor premier Motherchucker ponders Round 3

Despite losing a close game to Motherchucker, Barney says he’s looking forward to the prospect of a re-match in the finals…

Motherchucker topped off an impressive home-and-away season with two victories in Cottesloe in Round 8. He lost only two games along the way, and one of those was by forfeit. Yes, Mochu’s only actual defeat in the whole season was a 1-7 loss to Barnballs (Barney playing without Cannonball) in Round 3. And now, on the world’s biggest sporting stage, he faces his nemesis again, the second-placed Barnballs (again without Cannonball), in the finals.

Mochu made short work of The Brandy Bunch in his other game (Andy playing in Brad’s absence), 8-3.

Artificial Indifference was represented in Round 8 by SNHDT, as Rawalpindi Express was allegedly somewhere in the South Pacific, getting yet another tattoo. Finally untethered from RE’s ponderous inkiness, Stormboy had a very good day indeed.

Yes, SNHDT trounced the cellar-dwelling Big Wheelers (Banker, but no Stella), by a healthy 7-1.

In AI’s other game, Stormboy dispatched The Big LeBocce (SuperMario but no Serge), with a very tidy 7-2 performance.

Go Flat Out – or Buzz Off (Reg playing sans Buzz and Gonad) won its only game, dealing another blow, 7-3 to The Brandy Bunch, thereby giving TBB a place in the Asti play-off.
