The second-last home-and-away round of the 2022 season, played at Hyde Park, saw Fuchu slip from first place to third.

Gonad and Stella played Bradless and they lost 1-7 to Cairo (Handy Andy sans Digger and Cannonball) and 4-7 to Reg.

Reg had less success in his other game, coming second, 4-7, to SuperMario in S&M’s only game of the day.

Motherchucker, having returned from his high-altitude training camp in Kashmir, took a while to warm up, losing 0-7 to Australian Research & Space Exploration (Stormboy and RE with a distinct lack of Buzz), but prevailing to the tune of 7-5 over Urbane Gorillas.

Those Gorillas did have some fun, though, as they beat the last-placed Barney, 7-4.

On the subject of the purple dinosaur, that loss was his only game of the day and with it he stole last place from ARSE.

Cairo’s other game saw Andy lose 6-7 to ARSE, which meant that ARSE had two wins on one day for the first time this season.
