The second round of season 2021 was again delayed by some players having difficulty finding their way to the locus bocci. Despite the published venue being clearly identified on Google Maps, several players arrived late, having eventually found their way to Bardon Park via Doodlakine, Aldersyde and Challenge Stadium.

Play did eventually start, but some of the singletons perhaps wished it hadn’t. Big Pineapple lost 5-7 to CBGBs (playing without Gonad) and 1-8 to RE. Those losses took BP to eighth place after two rounds.

Although RE managed a win against the large and fruity one, he also managed to squander a 5-1 lead over Motherchucker, losing that game 5-8 (and almost losing a cod down a riparian rat-hole). Ergo, RE has climbed from eighth to seventh place.

Motherchucker says he’s in sixth place “with a bullet”, having lost his other game of the day to Reg, 4-7.

Reg also won his other game, taking himself from fifth place to second with a 7-0 pantsing of Stingers (Stella and Barney sans Buzz).

CBGBs also had two wins, eclipsing Psychoceramics 8-6, and thereby elevating themselves from sixth place to fourth.

Two Fingers of Scotch managed to prevail over Stingers, 7-5, and thereby remain atop the ladder and undefeated after two rounds.
